I think Huck made an effort to wait until I returned, but it was ultimately too much for her and she elected to return to the warmth of the house.
A snow out of season in Alabama rarely lasts long, and this one was no exception. The next day we had spring-like temperatures, and by the end of the day much of the snow had melted.
And actual spring followed quickly:

Part of my reason for maintaining the year-by-year approach is for my own private appreciation, or in some cases maybe acknowledgment would be a better word, of changes over time. Some of these changes I point out. Some others you may well pick up on your own.
